🇲🇪 New destination unlocked: MONTENEGRO! Things I wish I’d known before visiting this amazing country. 🚗 Driving here is an experience in itself. Narrow roads, mountains, sharp bends and incredible views. Some roads look impossibly narrow, yet cars, buses and trucks somehow always find their way through. Local knowledge is invaluable. ⏱️ Never underestimate travel times. A short distance on the map can become a much longer journey because of traffic, winding roads and the landscape. Good planning really matters here — and this is where travelling with experienced professionals can make all the difference. 💶 Cash is always useful. Better to have some with you. ⚖️ Menus are incredibly precise, with portions often listed by their exact weight in grams — and those portions are usually very generous. Come hungry! 🍽️ 👙 Beach changing cabins: simple but brilliant. Every beach should have them. 🐈 And then there are THE CATS. ❤️ In the evening, when the streets become quieter, the cats seem to take over the little squares and alleys. Definitely one of my favourite memories. 🌿 Montenegro reminds you that things don’t always work exactly as expected. Sometimes you just have to slow down, adapt and enjoy the journey. And when the important details are taken care of by people who know the destination, that becomes much easier. ❤️ A little kindness goes a long way. When someone takes the time to answer your questions or help you out, you really appreciate it. Beautiful landscapes, dramatic mountains, crystal-clear water, charming old towns and a character all of its own. As many of you know, over the past few years we’ve starter to take care of people who choose to spend an entire month living in Florence—not just travelers visiting for a few days. And with this departure, we’re proud to celebrate a special milestone: our 20th group that has spent a full month with us in Florence. ❤️ Another wonderful group is now getting ready to head home, and once again, this experience has been just as meaningful for us as we hope it has been for them. Spending a whole month together might seem like a long time, but it flies by—especially when you’re surrounded by such amazing people who quickly become like family. Watching you embrace our traditions, our food culture, and even our little Italian habits and customs fills us with pride every single time. Seeing you fall in love with our way of life is one of the greatest rewards of what we do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the kindness, respect, and genuine affection you show us every day. We truly appreciate every moment we share with you.
