Your day begins with a warm welcome at a charming family-run estate, where you will meet your experienced guide and his inseparable four-legged companion, whose extraordinary sense of smell makes every truffle hunt possible. Together, you will venture into the surrounding woodland, taking an active role in the search for this precious delicacy while learning about the techniques, traditions, and fascinating stories that have been passed down through generations.
As you walk through the peaceful Tuscan forest, you will discover why truffles have been treasured for centuries and gain insight into the delicate relationship between nature, the seasons, and the skilled partnership between hunter and dog that makes each discovery so rewarding.
Around midday, you will return to the farmhouse for a hands-on cooking experience, where you will learn how to prepare traditional homemade tagliatelle using fresh, simple ingredients and time-honored techniques. Your freshly made pasta will then become the highlight of your lunch.
After the cooking class, you will sit down on the estate’s beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking vineyards and olive groves, the perfect setting to enjoy your homemade meal.
